All Month at Anderson Japanese Gardens
1,000 Origami Cranes The Crane represents good fortune & longevity and is also a symbol of hope & healing. One Japanese legend states that if one folds 1,000 origami cranes and hangs them, your wish will come true.
For the month of July, we are asking guests to make an origami crane at home and bring it to display on our crane display in the Gardens. Our goal is to have 1,000 cranes displayed by the end of July.
If you bring a crane Monday-Thursday, guests will receive $1 off admission and a clip to hang the crane in the Gardens. (one discount per person and not valid on weekends.)
