Pollinator Garden Workshop

Help Create a Pollinator Garden

Pollinator gardens are thoughtfully arranged planting communities which are carefully designed to benefit the food, shelter and energy needs of insects. By taking care of pollinators, we are in fact taking care of ourselves by creating a more diverse, healthy and beautiful world.

Pollinator Workshop

Anderson Japanese Gardens invites you to join us in the revamp of our pollinator garden, led by local plantsman Roy Diblik. Join us on Thursday, June 4 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM as we replace our current pollinator garden with a new design focusing on attracting native insects. Roy will begin the workshop with a briefing on best practices for creating pollinator gardens. Participants will then work with Roy and garden staff to layout and plant the new garden.
