Please join us in the Guest House to celebrate the publication of  “The Art of Wagashi: Recipes for Japanese Sweets that Delight the Palate and the Eyes” by Professor Kimiko Gunji. After a brief talk about her book, Professor Gunji will serve three unique wagashi paired with three different kinds of Japanese tea.

The Wagashi book is available for sale through the Anderson Japanese Gardens gift shop and she will autograph copies as part of the event.

Kimiko Gunji is Professor Emeritus of Japanese Traditional Arts and Culture and the former Director of Japan House at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and is an accomplished tea ceremony and ikebana instructor.
