Shirin Yoku, Japanese forest bathing, refers to the practice of immersing all of your senses in the healing forest to reduce stress hormones and increase immune function. Connect with forest life around you through mindful activities on a gentle walk, typically covering less than a mile, and ending with a simple tea utilizing native plants. Dress for the weather.

Deepen your connection with nature with a slow, guided walk that incorporates the gifts of time in the forest, such as increased wellness and creativity, with suggested activities that are designed to open your senses to the world around you. This program allows for time spent with the group and also time spent alone in nature. The walk ends with journaling and a simple forest tea created with the plants that grow in this bio-region. The walk moves slowly, covering less than a mile in three hours.
