Volunteer at the Garden

Anderson Japanese Gardens offers an opportunity for those with a passion for the outdoors and Japanese culture to participate in its daily operations. The Docent Program consists of a diverse group of dedicated individuals who bring a unique mix of personal experiences and professional backgrounds.

Volunteers serve as Garden Docents, tour group leaders, and office assistants. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least two four-hour shifts per month during the months that the Gardens are open, from May through October.  Training is provided.
