Etegami – Japanese Picture Letters
Etegami is a Japanese folk art consisting of brush painted picture greetings which include calligraphy and a variety of subjects from nature. The cards can be sent to family members or friends or traded with other Etegami students. Subjects from nature such as fish, birds, bamboo, flowers and landscape will be demonstrated by National Watercolor Society Signature Instructor, Stella Dobbins. Access to the Gardens prior to the class is included in the class fee. One-half hour lunch is on your own. A Supply Kit ($25) is available by advance reservation with the Instructor.
