Lovely Iris in Bloom

Look at the beautiful iris in bloom along the zig-zag bridge in the Pond Strolling Garden! Our various plants and trees grow and change all season, so each time our guests visit, they are greeted by something different in the Gardens.

Tuesday Evening with Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts

On Tuesday, June 24, Anderson Japanese Gardens presents another returning favorite: Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts. This will be their third appearance at Tuesday Evening in the Gardens, and as always, we expect it to be a great show. The doors for the Tuesday Evening concerts open at 5 pm. The Gazebo Returns

Last fall, the gazebo overlooking the west waterfall was carefully disassembled, each piece labeled, and stored for the winter. The gazebo posts were made of wood set directly into the soil, and had rotted to the point where they needed to be replaced. With no other way to replace the footings, the entire structure had to come down. Tuesday Evening in the Gardens with Edward David Anderson

This week we welcome Edward David Anderson to the garden pavilion. Best known for his work with the Midwestern rock band Backyard Tire Fire, Anderson returns to the national stage with his solo debut, Lies & Wishes, a collection of songs that embrace vulnerability while remaining grounded in his working class roots.
